1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorize, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
1.2 Uploaded document photos
You may upload document photos from your browser so the Service can create cleaned scans. We process the uploaded files, page order, rotation data, generated output image URLs, and related job metadata needed to run the scan workflow.
1.3 Usage and technical data
We may collect standard technical information such as browser type, IP address, approximate region, referring pages, device information, timestamps, and error logs. We use this data to keep the Service reliable, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
1.4 Credits, subscriptions, and payment data
The Service offers a limited number of free scans per day, as well as paid plans such as Pro subscriptions. Enterprise access may be arranged separately. We process records related to credit usage, reset timing, job counts, plan type, subscription status, billing period, and cancellation state. If you buy a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers. We receive only the billing metadata needed to manage plans, subscription status, invoices, and payment events, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers.
2. How We Use Information
- To upload, process, and return scanned document results.
- To authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
- To manage daily free scan credits, paid plans, subscriptions, and payment status.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, rate-limit bypasses, and security incidents.
- To troubleshoot, monitor, and improve the Service.
- To comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
3. File Storage and Retention
Any photos you upload and any scans we generate are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Please download your scanned files before then.
We do not sell uploaded documents or use them for advertising. Third-party processors involved in scanning or storage may process files only as needed to provide the Service, subject to their own policies.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted providers, including:
- Google OAuth for sign-in and account authentication.
- Stripe for payment processing, subscriptions, invoices, and the billing portal.
- Object storage providers such as Cloudflare R2 or Qiniu Cloud for temporary file storage and signed upload/download access.
- Document-processing providers for cleaning and generating scanned document images.
- Google Analytics when enabled, for aggregate usage analytics.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, language preferences, and session management. If you purchase a paid plan, Stripe may use cookies needed to complete checkout and manage billing. If analytics is enabled, analytics cookies may help us understand aggregate product usage. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
6. Security
We take care to protect your files while they are being scanned and stored. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and protect your information.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, object to, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To make a request, contact us using the email below.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
9. International Transfers
Our providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred and processed internationally.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
